It’s Nick Holder here, owner of Roofing Renovations, writing our first blog on our brand new website. A few nights ago, we had the opportunity to attend the awards reception for the 2016 Ruthies Awards. For those of you that don’t know, the Ruthies Awards were established 22 years ago to give the Rutherford County community a voice to vote for their favorite businesses. We were invited to the reception because Roofing Renovations was voted as a finalist in the category for Favorite Roofing Company. It is hard to describe how great an honor it was to be a finalist in our first full year in business.
I was extremely excited that my beautiful wife, Genna, was able to attend the event with me. Although not technically an employee, she has played an integral role in the success of Roofing Renovations. She provided daily support and encouragement, created our original website, managed our social media, and was constantly coming up with innovative ideas to further improve the business. Genna has been my rock and the backbone of the company from behind the scenes. Thank you!
I was also accompanied by JR Roden and his soon-to-be-wife, Jessie Ruple. JR and I have been best friends since our days playing baseball together at both Oakland and Siegel High School. Just a few months ago, he joined the Roofing Renovations team and has already made a huge impact. JR brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, but, more importantly, he embodies the qualities that allow Roofing Renovations to thrive. He is an extremely hard worker, detail-oriented, takes pride in his work, and always puts the customer first. Thank you for joining the team!
